Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center: Formerly Presbyterian Hospital, largest Charlotte-area hospital owned by Novant Health. Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy: Part of Carolinas HealthCare System. Established in 1906 by Sisters of Mercy and sold to Carolinas HealthCare in 1995, became a Planetree designated “patient-centered” hospital in 2011. Mint Hill

Construction is underway on a new hospital at the intersection of Interstate 485 and Albemarle Road. Scheduled to open in 2018, the Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center is slated to provide comprehensive care.
