Don't miss Fashion's Night Out

Where will you be on Thursday evening?

If all goes according to plan, I”ll be back in the QC (after a super-speedy trip to New York for the second Lucky Magazine Fashion and Beauty Blogger conference) just in time for Charlotte’s Fashion’s Night Out festivities.

Fashion’s Night Out is an unprecedented global initiative created in 2009 in a partnership between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping.

The local event, sponsored by Hendrick Motors of Charlotte-Mercedez Benz and Effie Loukas, will feature more than 20 of the Charlotte area’s best boutiques on the catwalk.

From 6-10p on Sept. 8, fashion will take over the streets of the chic Metropolitan development in Charlotte. More than 20 boutiques, as well as the very best hair and makeup professionals in town, will create an unprecedented runway experience while raising money for the Zero Cancer-Great Prostate Cancer Challenge-Charlotte 2011.
