From festivals to food trucks, the end of September is packed with entertainment around town. Just in time for the weekend, we've picked the top five events you'll want to squeeze in to the last days of this month.

September 20-22FESTIVAL IN THE PARKEach September, Charlotte hosts its Festival in the Park featuring art, entertainment, and food. This year’s 49th annual festival will include more than 150 artists and nearly 1,000 entertainers coming together in one of the city’s most popular green spaces. 4-9:30 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m.-9:30 pm on Saturday, and 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Freedom Park, 1900 East Blvd. Free admission. September 21END OF SUMMER WHAT THE TRUCK! FOOD TRUCK AND MUSIC FESTIVALThis annual festival returns to Charlotte with a musical performance by The Stranger: A Billy Joel Tribute and a variety of street food from local food trucks. 6-11 p.m. at Amos’ Southend, 1423 S Tryon St. Tickets are $10, but can be picked up for free beforehand at Amos’ Southend, The Gin Mill, and Tavern on the Tracks. September 26STYLE NIGHT OUTThe 4th annual Style Night Out showcases more than 50 local boutiques, salons, and makeup artists bringing their work together on the runway. Proceeds from the fashion show will benefit Carolina Breast Friends. 6-10 p.m. at the Morrison Shopping Center (SouthPark), corner of Sharon Rd and Colony Rd. Tickets range from $25-$400. Details:

September 28OKTOBERFESTCharlotte’s 15th annual beer, food, and music festival benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, Classroom Central, and Project HALO, features craft beer from around the region. The event includes live entertainment from SugarSmaX and Southern Culture on the Skids, games, food, and, of course, plenty of brews. 12:30-6 p.m. at the North Carolina Music Factory, 1000 NC Music Factory Blvd. Tickets are $40, VIP tickets are $60. September 28NOIR IV ALL BLACK AFFAIR 2013 AT THE RITZThis nightlife experience returns to Charlotte and will feature the musical direction of Maybach Music Group & Power 98’s DJ Phalse ID. The event will also contain a widespread contemporary art collection. 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 201 E Trade St. Tickets range from $15-$500. Details:
