Disney Cruise Line's newest ship has arrived at its Florida port.
Fireworks lit the morning sky as the 4,000-passenger Disney Dream chugged into Port Canaveral Tuesday. It traveled 6,500 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from a shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany.
It's the Disney line's third ship and the first new one in more than a decade. The maiden voyage is set for Jan. 26.
The Disney Dream is scheduled to sail three-, four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas, from Port Canaveral. It's the first of two new ships to join the Disney fleet, with the Disney Fantasy set to debut in April 2012.
