A multimillion dollar, upside-down science attraction is slated to open to the public on Monday, General Manager Robert Stinnett said.
WonderWorks, located at Broadway at the Beach, will open at noon Monday, Stinnett said. The attraction will have four levels of interactive exhibits, as well as laser tag, an indoor ropes course and a cafe. The exterior of the attraction is built to look like an upside-down museum, complete with upside down trees and fixtures.
Construction began on WonderWorks last year and the attraction has brought more than 100 new jobs to the Grand Strand.
