Thomas rolls into Tweetsie
Thomas the Tank Engine – long the star of the PBS children’s show “Thomas & Friends” – returns to Blowing Rock’s Tweetsie Railroad. Besides taking 25-minute rides on Thomas, families can meet Sir Topham Hatt and enjoy a day of “Thomas & Friends.” The park is now open daily; admission for “Day Out With Thomas” (June 6-15) is the same as regular admission: $39; $26 for ages 3-12. “Thomas” reservations highly recommended.
