“South Carolina is well known for quality textile manufacturing and its skilled workforce,” said Kirit Patel and Raj Patel, owners of Venus Group in a news release Wednesday. “We are very happy to be associated with this great state.
“Venus will provide the same excellent service on the East Coast that we have been providing on the West Coast for over 40 years by stocking fabric and core items and manufacturing special products.”
As part of its long-term growth initiative, Venus has partnered with Milliken of Spartanburg.
With fabric technology and innovation as critical components of Venus’ operations, the proximity of the two firms in Chester and Spartanburg counties will allow for increased working efficiency on their collaborative efforts.
Hiring for most of the new positions is anticipated to take place in the first quarter of this year. For more information on Venus Group, go to venusgroup.com.
