Charlotte manufacturer Carlisle Cos. has named Barry Holt president of its newest operating business, Carlisle Fluid Technologies, effective Thursday.
Carlisle said Holt’s appointment is key in helping integrate the liquid-finishing business Carlisle bought from Minnesota-based Graco in April. The business unit has annual sales of $275 million and sells spray guns and other equipment for industrial applications of paints and coatings.
Most recently, Holt served as vice president of international business at Finishing Brands International, a subsidiary of Graco.
In his new role, Holt will focus on global growth, new product development, expansion of new markets and continued implementation of the Carlisle Operating System, the company said in a statement Thursday.
Carlisle, which employs about 80 people at its Ballantyne headquarters, is a diversified manufacturer whose products are categorized in five business segments: construction materials, interconnect technologies, fluid technologies, brake and friction systems and food service products.
