Global management consulting firm Sia Partners has opened its second U.S. office in Charlotte.
The office, located on the 10th floor of 401 N. Tryon St., will handle operations in the Southeastern states from North Carolina to Florida, the firm said in a statement this week.
The Charlotte office will be led by Shane Williams, a partner previously based in New York with experience in corporate and investing banking and consulting. Williams said he plans to build a team of more than 30 consultants in Charlotte over three years.
“Charlotte was the natural choice for the next Sia Partners’ office,” said Dan Connor, managing director and head of North American operations. “We now have the critical mass to expand across the country and to better serve our U.S. financial services clientele.”
Sia Partners employs more than 300 consultants in New York. The Paris-based firm’s North American services include corporate and investment banking, consumer banking, insurance and asset management, regulatory implementations and target operating model design and optimization.
Sia Partners said it plans to open a third U.S. office by the end of 2016. The firm employs over 700 consultants worldwide and operates 17 offices in 13 countries. The U.S. is its second biggest market.
