Leah Clevinger was promoted to human resource manager at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Lisa DeBerardino was promoted to the role of clinical nurse manager of the hospital’s float pool, supervisors, agency and sitters. Tina Hunter was promoted to director of women’s services. Corey Lasker is assistant CFO. Patrick Owensby was named director of the orthopedic, neurology and spine department.
Jeffrey Miller was appointed as the inaugural associate director of bands/director of athletics bands for the UNC Charlotte Department of Music. Miller will join the UNCC faculty in fall 2014.
Marie Merow joined Homewatch CareGivers of Charlotte as director of nursing.

The Charlotte City Club has begun renovations on approximately 25 percent of the clubhouse on the 31st and 32nd floors of the 121 W. Trade St. building. The renovations include the addition of upscale areas for work and informal business meetings, additional casual dining space, a coffee/wine bar, a billiards/game room as well as additional private wine lockers. The general contractor for the project is R.J. Leeper. Jenkins-Peer of Charlotte is the project architect. Chambers of Baltimore is the interior designer for the project. The renovations are expected to be completed in early May.
Charlotte attorney Joycelyn Eason of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP joined the national faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Gulf Coast Program, a provider of legal advocacy skills training. Eason will be among the faculty facilitating the 2014 Gulf Coast Regional Deposition Training Program, April 23-24, in New Orleans.
Nicolai Froehlich received the 2013 All Star Award as a Constant Contact Solution Provider. He helped Charlotte-based businesses Davetta Moore Designs and Aloha Nails Salon excel at using Constant Contact tools to engage with customers.
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton received the highest possible ranking in the 2014 Managing Intellectual Property Copyright Survey. Kilpatrick Townsend is ranked Tier One nationally for the second straight year. The ranking was released in the April issue of Managing Intellectual Property Magazine.
David Porter of Alliance Credit Counseling was recently presented the Hall of Honor Award during the Mortgage Bankers Association 2014 Mid-Winter Housing Finance Conference. The award recognizes corporations and individual corporate leaders who have committed their support to the military community on both a national and local level. Alliance earned the award as a result of the organization’s consistent efforts to help veterans save their homes from foreclosure.

Judges honored The Portland with a Silver Award in the detached home up to 2,000 square feet, home built for sale category.
