Charlotte Chamber holds ‘demolition party’ at headquarters

Staff members of the Charlotte Chamber donned hard hats and wielded sledgehammers Friday afternoon for an impromptu “demolition party,” marking the start of their headquarters renovations. Work begins in earnest Monday on the South Tryon Street building the chamber has occupied for 20 years. Work is expected to be finished by April. Staff Reports
