Kendra Scott, the women’s jewelry and fashion retailer known for its colorful designs and bold patterns, has announced it will open its first Charlotte location in SouthPark Mall on March 30.
The 1,700 square-foot SouthPark store will be the first indoor mall location for the Austin, Texas-based company. It will include a Color Bar where shoppers can create customized earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, the company said in a news release. According to a SouthPark spokeswoman, the store will be located next to White House | Black Market, near Belk and the Fountain Court.
Kendra Scott jewelry is already sold at upscale retailers like Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s. According to the company’s website, plans are also underway to open a second North Carolina store in Durham this year.
The company, founded in 2001 by designer Scott, has gained popularity among celebrities including Sofia Vergara, Reese Witherspoon and Paris Hilton.
