An industrial flex building at Nations Ford Road and Interstate 485 has been sold for $5 million, real estate services firm CBRE said Tuesday in a news release.
The 78,000 square-foot building, called the Crossings at Nations Ford East, is situated on 7.8 acres. The building is 93 percent occupied, with tenants including Applied Industrial Technologies, Dula Construction and Velocity Sports Performance.
CBRE executives Patrick Gildea, Anne Johnson and Bryan Crutcher sold the building for Waters Incorporated and Alex Brown Realty. The seller was not disclosed, except as a “high net-worth family seeking generational investment.”
Mecklenburg County real estate records show the buyer was a company affiliated with Californian George Amaral, founder of produce company Amaral Ranches.
“We have recognized a recent trend in which more family office buyers are seeking investments in this market,” said CBRE senior vice president Patrick Gildea, in a statement.
