Bank of America, BB&T and Fifth Third said this morning that customers should expect delayed openings of branches across the Charlotte region because of yesterday’s snow.

Here’s a look at banks’ plans:

▪ Bank of America spokeswoman Nicole Nastacie said that while there will be delayed openings of branches across Charlotte, customers should still check the bank’s website to confirm if a particular branch is open.

▪ BB&T spokesman David White said some branches may be closed or have delayed openings today. The majority of the Charlotte-area financial centers affected by the weather will be opening at 11 a.m. and a few may open at 11:30 a.m.

White said customers should call their branch first to make sure it is open. Customers can also access account information at BBT.com or (800) 226-5228.

▪ Fifth Third spokesman George Dick said branches in the Charlotte metropolitan area will open at 11 a.m. today.

▪ Wells Fargo spokesman Josh Dunn said all of the bank’s branches in the Charlotte region are scheduled to open at normal times.

Bank of America, Wells Fargo, BB&T and Fifth Third are the four largest banks in the Charlotte region.
