An office building in southwest Charlotte has been sold to private investors for $12 million in a deal that closed earlier this month.
The 76,889 square-foot building is at 14401 Carowinds Boulevard, near Interstate 77 and the South Carolina state line. It’s leased to iQor, a business outsourcing company, which uses the facility as an office and call center.
The company moved in April to the current location, from its previous offices on West Tyvola Road.
Mecklenburg County real estate records show the buyer was three limited liability companies affiliated with Virginia-based Duke Management Services. Britton Burdette of Stan Johnson Company represented the seller, 14401 Southlake Crossing.

“This transaction represents the increasing investor appetite for suburban office near primary market centers. Our client saw an opportunity to fill an underserved need for office space with high parking ratios in the Charlotte MSA, and delivered with a quality, long-term leased, redeveloped asset which was well-received by the market,” said Burdette.
