CNL Commercial Real Estate’s Charlotte office has a new home on the 25th floor of 121 W. Trade Street, as the company combines associates from recent acquisitions in the same space.

The company acquired the commercial services businesses of both Faison Enterprises and Crescent Communities last year, and now has about 50 employees in its new office. CNL is sharing the space with Crosland Southeast, with which it has collaborated since it acquired Croslands’ commercial services business in 2011.

“Our relocation to the 121 W Trade building is incredibly symbolic for us,” said Ken Loeber, Charlotte-based president of real estate services at CNL Commercial Real Estate, Charlotte, in a statement. “To be able to move to a new space in the heart of downtown Charlotte after the rapid growth we’ve seen in this city over the last few years is both thrilling and rewarding.”

Here’s a bit more of what the company had to say about its new space, which is meant to foster collaboration:

▪ “Given the importance of building a sense of place and community for the entire Charlotte-based team, CNL Commercial Real Estate has carefully considered the functional detail of the space to ensure it reinforces the culture of the company and enhances its ability to service its customers and drive innovation. That inspiration-driven collaborative culture is on full display with quotes from Thomas Edison, Teddy Roosevelt and Rev. Tim Keller posted in conference rooms, an expansive use of whiteboards and a vibrant color palette.”
