Edens buys Myers Park shopping center for $22.5 million

Columbia-based Edens has bought a Harris Teeter-anchored shopping center at Providence and Queens road for $22.5 million, Mecklenburg County real estate records show.

According to paperwork filed April 7, Edens purchased the 3.9-acre shopping center from Huntley Land LLC and Huntingon Management Company, a pair of corporations registered in Charlotte.

Harris Teeter expanded and renovated its store at the intersection of Queens and Providence into a two-story, 42,000 square-foot location in 2013. The shopping center also includes Alexander Scott, Charlotte Ultra Running and Facny Pants & Tootsies Too.
