A townhouse development could be in the works across South Boulevard from the Scaleybark light rail station, according to real estate records.
Records filed last week on the city’s online Accela system indicate developer Pulte Homes is planning to build a number of townhouses on the South Boulevard site.
The project description is pretty spare as of now: “Pulte Scaleybark Townhomes single family attached town home development” is all the description says. But the owner, Crosland Greens LLC, owns a large block of single family houses, vacant land, apartments and commercial buildings from north of Hollis Road and down to Scaleybark Road along South Boulevard, including parcels along Sloan Street and the cul-de-sacs branching off.

Crosland Greens LLC appears to be owned by Northwestern Mutual, according to the latest state corporate filings.
A Pulte spokeswoman said it’s “too early to share details about the proposed community.”
Pulte has more than a dozen other developments in the Charlotte area, which you can find listed here.
