A new medical office building is under construction in Huntersville off Gilead Road, next to the Earth Fare store.
The $6 million, two-story building totals 25,384 square feet. It’s scheduled for completion by the end of the year. The Knox Group is developing the site. Tenants will have the opportunity to buy or lease their space.
“Gilead Medical Center II is unique because business owners have the choice to own their office space instead of just leasing it,” said Charles Knox, in a statement. “Area residents will also benefit by having a new, easily accessible facility that makes it easy to access care from local medical practices.”
Tenants so far include Gilead Road Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, Selden Orthodontics, and Dentistry For Kids.

Brackett Flagship Properties is handling leasing for the building.
“We are excited about the diversity of tenants in this exciting new addition to the Huntersville medical office building landscape. The remaining available space should be fully sold or leased in the near future,” said Reed Griffith, of Brackett, in a statement.
