Construction is going quickly on the new apartment tower atop the Mint Museum, according to an update Childress Klein sent Thursday.
Charlotte-based developer Childress Klein has been pouring concrete for the structure. In July, the company poured columns and slabs for multiple levels, and the apartment tower is starting to peek up above the museum’s roof.
A temporary platform over the Levine Avenue of the Arts is also complete, preserving pedestrian access to the site.
Here are the stats on the tower:
▪ 43 stories
▪ 394 units
▪ Amenities will include a rooftop club, pool and fitness center.
▪ Completion scheduled for fall 2016.
▪ Apartments will include studio, one- and two-bedroom and penthouse units.
