MPV Properties said Wednesday that it expects to finish a new mixed-use building in South End in the third quarter this year, and tenants will include offices, a credit union and a pizza restaurant.
The Charlotte-based company is building the new, three-story, steel-framed building on 2400 South Boulevard, near Remount Road and adjacent to the Blue Line light rail.
Novant Medical Group, Truliant Federal Credit Union and Project Pie, a pizza company offering “artisan pies,” have signed leases in the 36,000 square-foot building. The rest of the building will be occupied by offices and medical users, an MPV spokeswoman said.
Mark Newell and George Macon of MPV are leading the development, with Choate Construction as the general contractor and Robert Johnson Architects designing the building. Keely Hines of MPV is leasing the remaining retail space.
