David Weekley Homes said Wednesday that it plans to start construction soon on the next phase of its Massey development in Fort Mill, S.C., which will include 150 houses.
The houses will be available in two models, one with four bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, and the other with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The development is located on Doby’s Bridge Road, southeast of downtown Fort Mill.
“We are investing in great Charlotte locations where people want to live,” Mark Gibbs, Charlotte division president for David Weekley Homes, said in a statement.
The company said it has sold 73 homes at the development since it opened in 2012. Amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center and pool.

York County, S.C., near Charlotte has faced pressure on its roads and schools as the community booms.
