Two new apartment buildings under construction on Central Avenue are now pre-leasing, seeking to sign up residents in advance of their summer openings.
The Gibson, a 250-unit apartment building by Pollack Shores, is set to open to residents this summer. Three blocks down the street, One305 Central is planning a June opening for its 246 units. TriBridge is the developer of that project.
Together, the two apartment buildings will add 496 new units to the inventory of rentals on Central Avenue – part of a surge that also includes buildings such as The Julien and a CampusWorks apartment building under construction (literally) around the Thirsty Beaver Saloon.
At One305 Central, apartments are listed starting at $1,295 for a 740-square-foot, one-bedroom unit. Units go up to $2,045 a month for a two-bedroom, 1,178-square-foot apartment.
The Gibson doesn’t have prices listed – all units are “call for pricing.” They start at a 671-square-foot, one-bedroom unit and go up to 1,162-square-foot, two-bedroom units.
