Charlotte isn’t the only city where locally based Crescent Communities is planning a major new residential skyscraper: The development company is planning a 35-story tower in downtown Nashville.

Called “Crescent Demonbreun,” the planned tower would be developed in partnership with Pearl Street Partners, a Nashville-area firm. The building would include eight levels of parking in the 35-story total, according to The Tennessean.

The 0.87-acre site is adjacent to a 33-story, 533-room JW Marriott under construction. The hotel includes a conference center.

In Charlotte, Crescent has a full slate of upcoming developments. The company is developing apartments in NoDa, a Whole Foods, apartments and hotels on Stonewall Street and a major mixed-use community on Providence Road just south of Interstate 485. The company is also planning to build an office tower, hotel and retail complex at Stonewall and Tryon streets, called Tryon Place, though a start date hasn’t been announced yet for that project.
