Charlotte-based Beacon Partners said Tuesday that it has leased a new speculative building in Fort Mill, S.C., to a freight forwarding company.
The 50,400-square-foot building is near Interstate 77 off S.C. 160. Catawba Enterprises, a freight forwarding company, is the new tenant.
“We’re very fortunate to have been able to put the last remaining undeveloped site off Carolina Place Boulevard into production and to have leased the building so quickly,” said Sean McDonnell, director of build-to-suit development for Beacon Partners, in a statement.
Choate Construction was the general contractor, while Merriman Schmitt was the architect and McAdams was the civil engineer. The development broke ground in July 2015.
