Development firm Childress Klein said this week that it expects the new apartment tower atop the Mint Museum Uptown to open late this year or in early 2017.
The 394-unit, 43-story tower has been under construction since last year. Preleasing for the luxury apartments is set to begin in September, the company has said.
Workers have completed interior and exterior framing and glass up to the 41st floor, electrical work in the units is complete to the 32nd floor and cabinets and countertops have been installed up to the 25th floor, Childress Klein said. Workers are also building the amenity deck on the roof, which will include a game room, fireplaces, lounge area, grills and heated pool.
Sidewalks around the perimeter of the apartment tower are scheduled to reopen by the end of November, when the overhead protection that’s been in place will also be removed.
