Try Sports is closing its doors in SouthPark for good on Sunday.
The upscale athletic retailer said it’s clearing all inventory from its Governor Morrison location and will offer sales of 30 to 70 percent off everything until it closes at 6 p.m. on March 8. The business is consolidating and will operate at its existing location in Blakeney, store manager Oliver Cross said.
It’s unclear how many of the store’s approximately 15 employees will keep their jobs.
“Business has been slow,” Cross said. “But mainly, the store that we’re in right now is too big and too expensive.”
