Late-night cookie shop to open this summer in the EpiCentre

A late-night bakery is opening its second Charlotte location this summer in the EpiCentre.

Insomnia Cookies will deliver fresh cookies from to homes and businesses from 10 a.m. until 3 a.m., the bakery said in a statement.

The uptown shop will carry popular flavors including chocolate chunk and snickerdoodle, and will also offer cookie cakes, brownies, customizable ice cream sandwiches and cold milk.

The uptown bakery will be at 210 E. Trade St. unit B-224, on the second level next to Moe’s.

Insomnia Cookies was founded in 2003 in a dorm room at the University of Pennsylvania.

The bakery opened its first Charlotte location in the University area last year. Insomnia Cookies operates seven other North Carolina locations, according to its website.
