A Puerto Rican beauty salon and salon called MyrAngel Beauty Institute will open its first U.S. location at the new Ayrsley development in Charlotte’s Steele Creek neighborhood. ‘
MyrAngel Beauty Institute at Ayrsley will include a beauty school and a salon, according to a statement this week from New Forum, the real estate development firm representing the landlord on the lease.
At the school, MyrAngel, which was founded in 2002, will teach techniques in cosmetology, hair cutting and styling, skin care, nail care and more.
The school/salon has leased a space in Ayrsley’s One Kings Parade building previously occupied by Regency Beauty Institute, which closed all 79 of its campuses last year. MyrAngel will take over the space in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the developer.
