Starting May 11, Pure Intentions will be the exclusive coffee provider for Amélie’s at all of the French bakery’s cafes.

Amélie’s said in a statement Friday that all of its hot and iced coffee beverages will be made with Pure Intentions Coffee.

“Pure Intentions is such a perfect fit for Amélie’s,” said Maura Raymond, director of beverages at Amélie’s. “We have spent extensive time researching complementary flavor profiles and tasting notes to create a perfect partnership and elevated coffee experience within Amélie’s.”

To celebrate the new partnership, Amélie’s will host a launch party open to the public May 13 at its uptown location at 380 S. College St. from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Free hot and cold coffee samples will be served, as will coffee-infused pastries and other snacks.

Last year, Pure Intentions completed its USDA Organic Certification, making it the only Charlotte-based fair trade and organic certified coffee roaster.

In Charlotte, Amélie’s has locations in NoDa, Carmel Commons and Uptown (and another cafe will open soon at Park Road Shopping Center.) The French cafe also has locations in Rock Hill and Atlanta.
