Jewelry maker Pandora will open a new Charlotte location in Carolina Place Mall this summer.

The Copenhagen-based jewelry chain designs and manufactures hand-finished jewelry, including charm bracelets and rings, made from genuine metals at affordable prices. This week Pandora also introduced its Spring 2015 Disney Jewelry Collection, which includes Disney character-inspired pieces starting at $35.

Pandora’s newest location will be in the mall’s center court next to Starbucks, the company said in a statement.

The addition of Pandora is among a slew of changes to the mall’s center court area, including the recent opening of teen retailer Garage and an expanded and renovated Forever XXI, another teen retailer.

Pandora jewelry is sold in 90 countries on six continents. In Charlotte, the jeweler also has brick-and-mortar stores at SouthPark Mall, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Northlake Mall and the Blakeney Town Center, according to its website.
