Founded by former Gardner-Webb quarterback Jeremy Martin, the gym will train athletes age 13 and up using a variety of sports performance training methods that focus on acceleration, explosiveness, strength, agility, injury prevention and power, according to a statement from the company. It will also offer classes.
“There are a lot of athletes in the Charlotte area, a lot of really good athletes, and I want to help them achieve their goals, get to the next level and empower them to stay motivated,” Martin said.
The new facility, which held a soft opening Feb. 25, is located at 8721 Sidney Circle, Suite 400, in Charlotte. The company expects about 200 people to attend the grand opening, to which those interested can RSVP here.
