Chick-fil-A is giving away free entrees next month for its annual Cow Appreciation Day, now in its 13th year and meant to serve as a day-long customer appreciation event.

Any customer who comes in wearing some sort of cow apparel (costume or accessory) on July 11 gets a free entree, the Atlanta-based restaurant chain said on its website. Kids wearing anything “cow-like” receive a free kids meal, the restaurant said.

Chick-fil-A operates about 40 restaurants throughout the Charlotte metro area, including its newest in Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

A variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner entrees can be redeemed during the giveaway, including chicken biscuits, chicken sandwiches, grilled nuggets, milkshakes and more. Salads, however, are not included, the restaurant said.

The giveaway lasts from the time restaurants open until 7 p.m.
