Frontgate has closed its doors after 13 years in SouthPark mall.

The furniture and home decor store is relocating to an outlet location at Carolina Pavilion in south Charlotte, at 9571 South Blvd., a Frontgate spokeswoman said. That location opens in August.

At SouthPark, Lululemon will be expanding into part of Frontgate’s old spot, according to a spokeswoman for Simon Property Group, which owns SouthPark. Lululemon currently occupies a space across from Frontgate’s old location next to Belk and Coach.

Frontgate sells an assortment of indoor and outdoor furniture, bedding, rugs and home decor. The location that will open on South Boulevard is Frontgate’s only Charlotte store.

Frontgate first opened in SouthPark in 2004.

SouthPark has had a number of stores close their doors in the last several months. The French luxury designer Hermès closed in SouthPark after over a decade earlier this year, for instance. BCBG Max Azria also closed earlier this year, as did MontBlanc.
