A nail salon and a women’s clothing boutique will open Nov. 9 in the Waverly development in south Charlotte.
This will be Polished Nail Bar’s fifth Charlotte location, and it will be clothing store Fab’rik’s third North Carolina location, according to statements from each company this week.
Polished offers a slew of salon services, including express manicures, pedicures, waxing/hair removals and facials. The company opened its first location in South End in 2006.
Fab’rik was started in 2002 and operates 40 locations throughout the U.S. The boutique specializes in “on-trend” clothing at accessible price points. On its opening day from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., the store said will have refreshments, music, games and a 30-second shopping spree.
This will be Fab’rik’s first Charlotte location. The retailer’s other North Carolina stores are in Huntersville and Raleigh.
Waverly is the new 90-acre mixed-use development on Providence Road, just south of Interstate 485. It is anchored by a 40,000 square-foot Whole Foods, which opened last spring, and also includes more than 25 retail shops, restaurants, apartments and offices.
