To staff up for its busiest season of the year, Home Depot is looking to take on 450 workers at its locations across the Charlotte area.

The Atlanta-based home improvement retailer said it is hiring in a number of areas, including cashiers, operations and online order fulfillment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and they could be at Home Depot stores or at its distribution facilities, the company said Tuesday.

Home Depot has 10 stores in the Charlotte metro area.

Those who are interested can apply online at careers.homedepot.com, select “Learn More,” enter the desired location (city, state) and click “Search Jobs.”

Interested applicants can also text HOMEDEPOT to 52270 and receive a link to apply.

Home Depot’s seasonal hiring effort comes a few weeks after rival Lowe’s, based in Mooresville, said it is hiring more than 1,250 in the Charlotte area this spring.
