The Metropolitan shopping center in midtown Charlotte has signed two new tenants: Waterbean Coffee and Fityoulous, a clothing boutique for women.
Waterbean will be in a space that is about 1,400 square feet and adjacent to NewDominion Bank. It is scheduled to open sometime in early fall, according to a statement Monday from Bayer Properties, the firm that manages leasing at the Metropolitan.
The cafe, which operates four other locations in the area, will serve coffee and tea drinks, as well as sandwiches, pastries, wine and beer.
Fityoulous, a leisure wear boutique for women, will open in a 1,400 square-foot space next to CRIV on March 3. The shop will also offer on-site yoga and fitness classes regularly. The boutique is hosting a celebratory event opening day at 10 a.m. The shop will offer mimosas, snacks and a free workout, and a free tank top to the first 50 customers.
