Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern to open this fall in SouthPark

Construction is now underway on Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern, an Ohio-based bar and grill concept in SouthPark’s Sharon Square.

The 4,800 square-foot restaurant is slated to open in September and will feature a courtyard and fire pit for outdoor seating.

According to its website, Rusty Bucket specializes in American fare, from burgers to pizza to gluten-free items, and it has a full bar with a variety of wine and beer.

Pappas Properties is developing Sharon Square, a mixed-use development achored by Charlotte’s first Whole Foods. Other new retailers in the shopping center include Dogwood Southern Table & Bar, Corkbuzz Wine Studio and Bar Method, a fitness studio.

“We have worked hard to attract a variety of attractive restaurants and concepts to Sharon Square,” Peter Pappas, CEO and founder of Pappas Properties, said in a statement. “Rusty Bucket’s casual, fun and comfortable atmosphere with its outdoor seating will further enhance the street scene.”

Rusty Bucket operates a chain of restaurants in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Florida.
