New art studio opening in Matthews June 12

A new art studio called Art for All is opening in Matthews on June 12.

The studio will offer classes in painting fundamentals as well as event space for occasions like wine parties, birthdays, graduations and holidays. The studio is open to artists of all ages.

“Art is meant to be fun and we strive to make it that way,” the studio said in a statement.

According to the studio’s website, parties last 90 minutes and cost $250 for up to 10 guests, then $15 for each additional guest.

The studio is hosting an open house 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 13. During that time, Art for All will offer prizes such as free art classes.

Art for All is at 11025 Monroe Road, near N.C. 51 (Matthews Township Parkway).
