On Saturday, a pop-up market from Vintage Charlotte (VTG CLT) will feature vintage and handmade goods from more than 80 local vendors. The market will host a ticketed VIP event Friday evening, too.
The market, in its fourth year, will be open in a warehouse at 2205 N. Tryon St. from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday. It’s free during those hours but charges $5 for 10 a.m. entrance if shoppers want to beat the crowds.
Local vendors will be selling all kinds of hand-crafted goods like home decor, baby clothes, accessories, ceramics and jewelry.
The event is partnering with Sycamore Brewing to offer shoppers a beer garden, with The Daily Press CLT to provide coffee and with Juan Taco Truck, Bleu Barn Bistro and King of Pops-Charlotte to provide a variety of dining options.
Yelp Charlotte will also give away shopping bags to the first 400 patrons.
Vintage goods enthusiasts can shop ahead of time at the market’s VIP Shop Friday that lasts from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets for the event, which can be purchased online, are $25 and buy shoppers a tote bag, Sycamore Brewing beer pint and appetizers from Fit You Meals, Heirloom and Tapas 51.
The market’s nonprofit partner, Green Teacher Network Charlotte, will host a silent auction that night featuring packages of homemade goods.
