SouthPark shoppers may have realized a change at the cluster of stores on Morrison Boulevard near Rooster’s.

The Specialty Shops on the Park just got a Palm Beach-inspired makeover and is now called Specialty Shops SouthPark. The renovation includes new entry signage, landscaping and lighting upgrades, a new amenity package that includes Wi-Fi and cafe seating in the courtyard, pathway upgrades and new stenciling and painting throughout the property.

The re-branding of the shopping center at 6401 Morrison Blvd. is intended “to better reflect the center’s position in the SouthPark submarket of the Charlotte MSA,” the shopping center’s developer Hill Partners said in a statement this week.

“We are extremely excited with the outcome of the renovation and have been consistent with the original design inspiration of the center, which was Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida,” Robert Spratt, Hill Partners president, said in the statement.

In addition to the renovation, the shopping area also will welcome two new tenants this fall: Pure Barre and efKarpo, a Mediterranean-inspired cafe and specialty food shop.
