It looks like the upscale women’s boutique Copper Penny will be opening in Charlotte much sooner than anticipated.
On its Facebook page this week, the Charleston-based store said its new Phillips Place location will be open at 10 a.m. Aug. 1 through its grand opening, which runs from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
During that time, the shop will be serving champagne and other treats as well as giving away raffle prizes including gift cards to Phillips Place restaurants, accessories from some of the owner’s favorite lines and concert tickets.
The boutique had originally planned for a fall opening.
