A fitness concept for women called Burn Boot Camp will soon open four new facilities in the Charlotte area.
Devan Kline, the owner and chief executive officer of Burn Boot Camp, said the new facilities in Elizabeth, Mallard Creek and Lake Wylie, S.C., will all open Oct. 1, and another in Pineville will open Aug. 30.
The high-intensity boot camp-style workouts are intended for busy women, so they last no longer than 45 minutes. The classes focus on mindset, clean eating and building muscle, rather than weight loss. Free child care is also offered at certain locations.
For the new studios opening locally, Burn Boot Camp is offering a free 30-day trial.

Another facility is slated to open in Fort Mill, S.C., too, Kline said, but its opening date is to be determined because a lease is still being negotiated. Burn Boot Camp also plans to open four new locations at once in Raleigh in January.
The workout concept already operates North Carolina facilities in Concord, Cornelius, Denver, Durham, Huntersville, Matthews and Mooresville, according to its website.
Here are the new locations. The exact address for the Lake Wylie location wasn’t immediately available. Those interested in the free trial can sign up on the company’s website.
