It’s looking like Bulldog Beer and Wine, which said this spring it’s opening another location, will open shop No. 2 in South End this fall.
The beer and wine seller has been hinting about its new shop on various social media outlets this week. The Arlington, the easily recognizable pink mixed-use high rise on South Boulevard and Arlington Avenue, for example, is one of its new neighbors, according to the shop’s Facebook page.
“The new Bulldog is going to be a great place to tailgate for Panthers games,” the store also said on its Facebook page.

Bulldog Beer and Wine says it will reveal its new location this weekend during its Hop Summer in the City Party at its current location in Dilworth, 2447-B Park Road, across the street from the Park Square shopping center.
Friday will feature food from Tiger Yakatori, and Saturday the Yummi Bahn Mi food truck will stop by, according to its website.
Owner Rob Johnson told the Observer in March that in addition to the shop’s regular assortment of bottled and canned beer, growlers, craft beer on tap, cider and wine selection, the new store will sell home brew materials.
Johnson couldn’t be reached for comment.
