Demolition is underway at the site of the former Monkey Joe’s play center in the Park Road Shopping Center.
A representative from Edens, which manages the property, told the Observer recently that the space will be home to two restaurants and a bank, though it’s too early to name the new tenants.

Edens bought the Park Road Shopping Center in 2011 for $82 million and has undertaken extensive renovations. Earlier this year it bought a Harris Teeter-anchored shopping center at Providence and Queens roads for $22.5 million
