Developers have signed ULTA, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, and Taziki’s Mediterranean Café as the newest tenants at the Waverly development in south Charlotte.
The new 90-acre mixed-use development on Providence Road, just south of Interstate 485, will include a 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods, 141-room Hilton Garden Inn, residences and other retailers including Ivy & Leo, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Polished Nail Bar and Chipotle.
“Our concept for Waverly was to provide a blend of retail, restaurants and services that will enhance the lifestyle of South Charlotte residents,” Chris Thomas, partner of Childress Klein, said in a statement. Childress Klein is developing the property along with Crosland Southeast.
Construction began on Waverly in August. Opening dates for the newest tenants weren’t immediately available.
