Developers have signed ULTA, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, and Taziki’s Mediterranean Café as the newest tenants at the Waverly development in south Charlotte.
The new 90-acre mixed-use development on Providence Road, just south of Interstate 485, will include a 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods, 141-room Hilton Garden Inn, residences and other retailers including Ivy & Leo, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Polished Nail Bar and Chipotle.
“Our concept for Waverly was to provide a blend of retail, restaurants and services that will enhance the lifestyle of South Charlotte residents,” Chris Thomas, partner of Childress Klein, said in a statement. Childress Klein is developing the property along with Crosland Southeast.
Construction began on Waverly in August. Opening dates for the newest tenants weren’t immediately available.

Here are the details on the three new retailers:
▪ The 11,000-square-foot ULTA offers cosmetics, fragrance, skin products and salon services. The beauty retailer operates four other stores in Charlotte.
▪ The 2,500-square-foot Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa provides services including massage, facials and waxing.
▪ The 3,000-square-foot Taziki’s offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes including grilled meats, sandwiches, gyros, soups, salads and vegetarian dishes. The fast-casual restaurant operates six other locations in the Carolinas.
