Five Guys Burgers and Fries will open a new Charlotte location in Plaza Midwood next to Healthy Home Market.

Property records show the Virginia burger chain’s new Central Square location will be at 1326 Central Ave., in the former space of J&J Beauty Supply, which has closed.

It’s unclear when the new Five Guys will open and whether J&J will reopen elsewhere. Representatives from the businesses could be reached for comment.

The Five Guys website indicates that the new Central Avenue location will operate from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day.

Five Guys operates 17 other locations in the Charlotte region, according to its website. The chain, which started outside Washington, D.C., is known for its made-to-order burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes and fries.
