Mooresville shopping center sold for $12.8 million

A Mooresville shopping center has been sold for almost $12.8 million, the seller said Tuesday.

Mooresville Crossing II, at River Highway and Morrison Plantation Park, was developed by New South Properties in 2007. Will Whitley, partner with New South Properties, said the sale to Berg-Mooresville Crossing II, LLC closed Friday. Corporate records show the buyer is affiliated with a company based in St. Peters, Missouri.

Broker Mike Yuras of Newmark Cornish & Carey represented New South Properties on the sale. The new owners have retained New South Properties to manage and lease the nearly 73,000 square foot shopping center. Anchor tenants include Ashley Furniture HomeStore, Hickory Tavern and electronics retailer HHGregg.
