Best Buy stores will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26. Most will remain open until 1 a.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 27, then reopen at 8 a.m.

The electronics retailer will offer shoppers a slew of door-buster deals at each opening, including price cuts on high-definition TVs, tablets, headphones, wireless speakers and smartwatches, Best Buy said in a statement Tuesday.

As it competes with online retailers like Amazon.com and other giants like Target, Best Buy also recently said it’s dropping all restrictions for free shipping over the holiday season. Previously, the retailer had required shoppers to spend at least $35 to get free shipping.

Some of the door-busters Best Buy is offering include a Toshiba 49-inch LED 1080p HDTV for $149.99 on Thanksgiving, $120 off an 11.6-inch MacBook Air on Black Friday and up to $100 off Apple Watches throughout the weekend.

Many other retailers plan to open on Thanksgiving Day, including Target, which said Monday it will open at 6 p.m. that day. Charlotte-area malls will also open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Best Buy operates 16 stores in the Charlotte metro area, according to the store’s website.

Here are Best Buy’s extended holiday hours:

▪ Thanksgiving, Nov. 26: 5 p.m.-1 a.m.

▪ Black Friday, Nov. 27: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

▪ Saturday, Nov 28: 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

▪ Sunday, Nov. 29: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
