Charlotte-based denim boutique Blue Hem has opened a pop-up shop in the Latta Arcade that will run through Dec. 31.

The pop-up store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

An upscale jeans boutique, Blue Hem offers a variety of high-quality denim apparel for men and women, with products ranging from about $150 to $300.

Blue Hem’s first standalone location in South End was supposed to have opened this fall, but a number of construction delays have pushed the opening to late February, owner Suzy McIntosh told the Observer.

The South End store will be located in Camden Gallery, a multifamily project on Camden Road between West Boulevard and Kingston Avenue that will include nearly 9,000 square feet of retail space.

Blue Hem’s Latta Arcade store is part of week-long event of pop-up shopping hosted by Charlotte Center City Partners, intended to “promote existing retail and attract new retail to uptown.” Elsewhere, Goodwill is running a pop-up boutique called GW in the Epicentre, and a holiday pop-up shop called Tinselbox will in the Foundation for the Carolinas gallery.
